There are so many models being offered in the larger scales that it seems like 1/72nd scale is being forgotten. Everything is either 1/48th, 1/32nd or 1/24. Being an elder modeler, I understand why. This a very nice 1/72 scale model. Tamiya did an excellent job. The only gripe I have is the box art.
The instruction sheet is 8 pages and is in German, Japanese and English. This is page 1.

The entire model is on 1 sprue. The model has finely engraved panel lines and the molding is very delicate but crisp. No flash.
Something not seen that much anymore is a clear model stand. The clear canopy parts are delicate, finely modeled and crystal clear. The decals are thin and show a lot of detail. And there are actually enough swastikas for 2 aircraft. This is a great kit. Try 72nd again, you might like it.
